FotoArabia are holding a picathon! The idea is to create a series of images with the theme “The Nation’s Pride”. Here is a little proof of concept for a series that could be really cute!
I’m calling this photo Knowledge World. It’s a little rough around the edges because I did it between lessons at work on Thursday, but it definitely has a lot of potential.
Some of my photos are being exhibited in the 2nd Vantage Point Sharjah Exhibition. The exhibition is at the Sharjah Art Foundation in the Heritage Area of Sharjah.
Here are the photos being exhibited.

Tonight there was a supermoon! It didn’t actually look that much bigger, but with a telephoto lens it didn’t look too bad.
I’ve finally set up a dedicated photography website! Obviously it’s still a work in progress. I hope to get a new theme soon and I’ll upload some more of my work as I get it organised. I also hope to start sharing some of my recent photoshoots, personal projects and things I’ve been learning.
For now, I give you this. I was doing some corporate headshots in Knowledge village and it turns out the Dubai humidity is too much! We had to sit around waiting for all the kit to equalise in temperature so the condensation on the lens dried out a bit. Next time I do a photoshoot in this humidity I’ll bring my UV filter, it dries quicker than a bulky lens.
